“Meta saw a gradual decline in revenues in the second half of 2022 (aside from during peak) and we expect this to continue into 2023. This is driven by a combination of competition from TikTok and a slowdown in the wider economy. However, the good news for brands is that this presents an excellent opportunity to capitalise on cheaper in-platform advertising costs,” Ashton explained.
